Describe your ideal work environment.

The ideal work environment is a quiet one where I can work without interruption, yet is still a collegial envirnment where everybody\'s door is always open, facilitating collaboration and brainstorming with coworkers. The ideal work environment shares leadership and responsibility, rewards success, and encourages growth. The ideal work environment is also one that encourages and provides for work-life balance.

Describe a time when you have had to overcome a challenge.

Where to start? Every task on the job is a challenge, some great some small. Some relationships are a challenge, some great, some small. Every failure is a challenge, every new project, every change in strategy, every new vision. I don\'t see challenges as things to overcome, I see them as opportunites for success and satisfaction.

What is the toughest problem you have had to solve?

How to rescue a project that was headed toward termination due to a lack of consumer interest. I believe I was nearly successful, but nearly doesn't count in business. The success I took away from this is to to start sounding the alarm and looking for creative solutions earlier.

What are your strengths? Weaknesses?

My strengths: I am a \"big picture\" strategist yet still able to manage details, a skilled communicator, an able teacher, a quick learner, and I bring professional quality to everything I do. I am very person- and event-oriented. My weaknesses: I sometimes get too caught up in the big picture. And I sometimes get caught up in the details. I strive to find balance, but my focus is both a benefit and sometimes a challenge.

What do you like most about your job?

Seeing a job well-done enjoyed by others.

What kind of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a job that brings value to people's lives through the work I do, the vision I support, or the product I help bring to market. I'm looking for a job where I can be challenged to grow and that provides the resources and flexibility to encourage growth.

What do you want to do when you grow up?

I don't want to ever feel like I've grown up because I always want to keep learning and finding new challenges both professionally and personally.

Why did you choose this career?

I didn't. My career and all my recent positions have chosen me. I haven't had to seek a transfer or ask for a promotion since 1993: I've always been invited to enjoy greater responsibility and embrace new challenges by the next manager in my career.

What are you most passionate about?

Helping others get to the "Aha!" moment.

What did you learn from your previous job?

How to manage and lead a team, how to give praise when it is due and provide helpful direction when it is not, how to edit video and audio, and how to be a better team player.
