Interview Questions
- What are your strengths? Weaknesses?
- My soft skills or people skills are exceptional. There are a lot of folks out in the industry that are probably more technical than me but they dont have the ability to break technology down into a form that an average person can understand or use. My weakness would be a dislike for corporate politics. I just want to come to work and make the network work and provide world class customer service to my customers.
- What do you like most about your job?
- I love solving problems. I like being able to be presented with a difficult problem that I may not be well versed in and be able to troubleshoot it and diagnose it and research the problem or solution. I love it when my customer is able to utlize my skills and solutions to technical problems to get their jobs done.
- Why did you choose this career?
- I was looking for a new challenge. I started out selling hardware for a Tandy company called Computer City in Houston Texas back in 1990. I progressed from sales into hardware repair and upgrades. From there I went into LAN troubleshooting and client desktop support. I worked my way from desktop support into Help Desk and then Network Administration and Systems Integration.
